Forest Moon Festival Games - Scavenger Hunt & Passport

Festivalgoers can explore local businesses by using the Redwood Coast Experience app to complete fun puzzles, riddles, or unique challenges. Each completed challenge unlocks a Scavenger Hunt Badge via a QR code. Attendees can also discover special deals and earn Passport Stamps by scanning QR codes at participating locations. How it works:

This year the Forest Moon Festival is working with businesses and organizations across Humboldt and Del Norte Counties to offer festival attendees special deals-- AND to reward those who get out there and explore all that the Redwood Coast has to offer.

Using the new Redwood Coast Experience App, festival attendees will be able to find these special deals-- and then scan a unique QR code at each business to receive a Passport Stamp, marking their  successful mission.  

Attendees who collect the most Forest Moon Passport virtual stamps will win special prizes, including official Festival merch!

How it works:

Businesses will create puzzles, riddles, or unique task challenges for festival attendees to conquer.   Using the new Redwood Coast Experience App, festival attendees will be able to find these challenges-- and then scan a unique QR code at each business, to unlock a Scavenger Hunt Badge, proving they did it.

At the end of the Festival weekend, prizes will be awarded to those who have conquered the most challenges--  With a special grand prize for the grand champion!
